The F9F’s fuselage is light, but at the same time strong as a unit, making it an excellent choice for the installation of an EDF (electric ducted fan) power system or even a micro turbine. The the jet was designed for a 90 mm fan ( like the DS51 DIA fan), the model’s forward air duct is already installed for this edf size. The model offers an above-average flight performance, and it is also possible to install an even larger ducted fan unit 108 mm(up to approx. 110 mm Ø).
