This model was designed to give beginners an affordable model for ducted fan flying. The kits consists out of precisely milled CNC parts which can be put together even by unexercised modelers within a couple of hours. Gaps for the ducted fan, the receiver, servos and the batteries are already milled into the silhouettfuselage.

All linkeage parts like ruderhorns and bowden cable are included. Lately the UK magazine RCME pubished an article with an Alpha Jet powered with LiPo cells. That gives your model an overwhelming performance and even higher flight duration. We recommend the Wemotec Mini Fan 480, which fits into the preciley milled gap. Worth the money is a cheap Motor like a Speed 480BB 7,2V and 8 cells of 4/5 SC size, e.g. Sanyo CP1700SCR. For speed amibitious pilots we recommend propulsions with brushless motors like the Kontronik Fun-400. Phenomenal performance and long flight duration are possible with this model.

Launching the model is quite easy because of the little wingload. Even so its windless you are able to launch the Alpha Jet without a rubber bungee. Dependent on the propulsion a very high velocity is possible. Slow rolls, powerfull loops, and fast pass bys "normal" or upside down are no problem with the Alpha Jet. Due to the the little landingspeed this model is very attractive for Ducted Fan Newcomers.
