The RFFS-100 system is a three channel (rudder, elevator, and throttle), high resolution, fully-proportional receiver. Designed for sub-ounce flight, the RFFS-100 comes equipped with a built-in ESC that is rated up to 2 amps. The KP00 motor with U80 prop is an excellent all around motor to get started with a balsa kit and the RFFS-100. This combination is able to power a wide range of sub-micro flight models up to 1.5 oz. The RFFS-100 is available in 72MHz, 50MHz, 36MHz and 35MHz frequency bands. The RFFS-100 includes a crystal.
The RFFS automatically detects transmitter type (JR or Futaba), the throttle channel and orientation, and maps it to the built-in ESC. For efficiency, the RFFS uses PWM, which produces mosquito-like noise on the servos. (Hence the original model's name "Skeeter")
